1867: He was arrested for misconduct in New York City which led to a night in jail.
1870: He married Olivia Langdon in Elmira, located in New York on February 2nd.
1872: Olivia gave birth to Susan.
1874: Olivia gave birth to their second daughter, Clara.
1880: This year, their third daughter, Jane (Jean) was born.

Mark Twain's Work
\Mark Twain could be considered to be the greatest author of all times. He wrote several great classics, the best known being The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and, Huckleberry Finn. He wrote many books including, Letters from the Earth, The Gilded Age, and many more.
\The Adventures of Tom Sawyer written in 1876, was not initially recognized as that great book, but after time the characters in the book became nationally known and loved. Twain's writing style involving a lot of his own life experiences managed to connect his readers.
\Huckleberry Finn written in 1885 was another of Twain's literary greats. The book was about a boy with an abusive father who escapes down the Mississippi river with a run away slave. The book shows the problem with racism, alcoholism, and child abuse along with many other important topics.
